Telemark Silver Flatware
A Classic
Telemark silver is inspired by the Norwegian characteristic woodcarving and rose-painting traditions of the county of Telemark, Norway. The tradition had its heyday for about 100 years, between the 1750s and 1850s. During this period they made a variety of rose-painted wood boxes, beer buns, and wall paintings by hand. The floral design has its history from the Acanthus mollis discovered by the ancient Greeks. The Telemark silverware was designed in 1929 and has been a classic in our range of products.
